    This is a fantastic piece of advice for parents or for anyone. Knowing some basic first aid is important. I would also urge parents to take a basic first aid course through their local Red Cross or local hospital education center. Another good piece of advice for parents is to find a baby sitter who has gone through the Red Cross baby sitting class.
